What makes life worthwhile? What makes life meaningful? What makes life significant?
To answer these questions and clear a path through this self-reflecting journey, you must embrace a counter-culture perspective on life - which is:
Think of yourself less
That’s right! Taking the focus off of yourself and putting that attention and effort towards others will help you discover what makes your life significant.
I recently went to someone’s funeral and the family and friends were sharing their memories of the one that passed. As I listened curiously to each individual story (and there were a lot), there was a common distinction that made this person’s life so meaningful and significant. Do you know what these people were talking about? They each were reflecting on his willingness to make time, and help them. He gave a piece of his life so other people could experience a greater life.
Our true identity isn’t on the clothes we wear, the money we possess, the people we hang out with, the groups we are associated with, or the awards, degrees, and accolades we receive; but rather, we find our identity and purpose through relationships that are built.
Strength is for Service, Not Status
Romans 15:1-2 (MSG)

outlook that creates opportunity.
Thanks for being curious and taking the time to read this! Hope it added value to your life and equips you to become better than you were yesterday!
